Nashville, Tenn. (April 23, 2013) - sixstepsrecords' Matt Redman and Chris Tomlin have been honored with three Billboard Music Award nominations for the 2013 award show. The worship leaders are both nominated for the Top Christian Artist category. Additionally, Redman's No. 1 award-winning anthem "10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)" is nominated for Top Christian Song. The 2013 Billboard Music Awards will air live on Sunday, May 19 beginning at 8/7c on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Matt Redman's song "10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)" continues to impact listeners around the globe. Written by Redman along with songwriter Jonas Myrin, the RIAA Certified Digital Gold single made an impressive 16-week run at No. 1 on Christian Radio in 2012 and was honored with two GRAMMY® awards in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Song and Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance categories earlier this year.

Acclaimed recording artist Chris Tomlin has already seen success with Billboard earlier this year with his album Burning Lights debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, only the fourth-time a Christian album has accomplished this feat. The success of Burning Lights was accompanied by an outpouring of acclaim from national media including The New York Times, USA Today and Billboard, among many others. In 2011, Tomlin picked up his first two Billboard Music Awards for Top Christian Song ("Our God") and Top Christian Artist. Tomlin is currently selling out venues nationwide on his "Burning Lights Tour" feat. Kari Jobe and Louie Giglio (at select dates). For more information, please visit www.ChrisTomlin.com/tour.
